Germany Day at UNICAMP: Event brings together representatives from German institutions and attracts hundreds of students looking for exchange opportunities

On April 9th, Unicamp hosted the event Germany Day, dedicated to exploring the diverse study and research opportunities available in Germany. The event was organized by the team at DERI in partnership with Cesar Lattes Central Library (BCCL), who kindly provided the lobby and auditorium spaces, and also with the support of the representative of University of Potsdam, Mr. Sven Dinklage. Also present were representatives of German academic institutions who participated in the fair and gave lectures on the programs and assistance offered by bodies such as the German Academic Exchange Service – DAAD, German Center for Science and Innovation – DWIH and German Research Support Society – DFG

In the lobby of the Central Library, participants were able to interact directly with representatives of the Technical University of Munich (TUM), Universität Potsdam, Universität Münster and Freie Universität. They were present at the event Sören Artur Metz, Sven Dinklage, Laura Redondo de Campos, Francine Camelim, Christian Lazar, Maxi Neidhardt, Patricia Falasca, Cíntia Toth, Maria Yrani Albisser e Johannes Röder, all providing valuable information about study opportunities in Germany.

The lectures, held in the BC auditorium, were a major highlight of the event, where participants had the chance to learn in detail about the exchange programs and scholarships offered by German institutions.

Representatives of the Goethe Institute Sao Paulo and spend They also shared insights into German language courses, exams and preparatory courses, as well as highlighting the opportunities available for those who wish to deepen their knowledge of this language. With almost 500 registrants, the event was a real success, reflecting the growing interest of UNICAMP students in exploring academic opportunities in Germany. The auditorium was full of students interested in information about exchange and study in the European country, highlighting the relevance and positive impact of Germany Day on the UNICAMP academic community.
