Professor Rafael Dias

Rafael Dias is a professor at the School of Applied Sciences of the State University of Campinas and is currently the Director of the Executive Board of International Relations (DERI) at Unicamp. He works in the Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in Applied Humanities and Social Sciences and in the Graduate Program in Science and Technology Policy, both at Unicamp. He is also the coordinator of the GAPI (Group for Analysis of Innovation Policies) at the same university. He completed a postdoctoral internship at the Science Policy Research Unit (SPRU) at the University of Sussex, United Kingdom (2016), with support from CAPES. He holds a PhD in Science and Technology Policy from Unicamp (2009), with an internship at the Georgia Institute of Technology (2009), and a Master's degree in Science and Technology Policy from Unicamp (2005). He holds a degree in Economics from Facamp (Faculdades de Campinas, 2003). He has experience in the areas of Social Studies of Science and Technology and Analysis of Science, Technology and Innovation Policies, working mainly on the following themes: technologies for social inclusion; science, technology and power; technology and democracy; comparative science and technology policy. Orcid - Lattes
