“King Sejong Institute” is an institution that promotes and educates the Korean language and culture for those who wish to learn Korean as a foreign or second language. There are 234 Institutes in 82 countries around the world.

The King Sejong Institute of Campinas was created through an agreement between Unicamp and the University of Ulsan, with the support of the King Sejong Institute Foundation. Opened in September 2015, the institute is part of an international network of more than 230 King Sejong Institutes present in 82 countries, whose mission is to teach and promote the Korean language and culture.

We offer Korean language courses, using material approved by the King Sejong Institute Foundation and develop cultural activities related to Korean culture.

The Institute's teachers are selected and approved by the King Sejong Institute Headquarters (the Foundation) to ensure the highest standard of teaching.

In Unicamp's central library, there is a Korean culture room with Korean books, computers and materials for cultural activities.
