The Brazilian Universities International Cooperation Group (GCUB), in partnership with the Educational Testing Service (ETS), announces a new opportunity to obtain a voucher with a 10% discount for taking the TOEFL iBT exam. This benefit is exclusively for professors, students, technicians, and researchers affiliated with universities associated with GCUB.
With the discount applied, the TOEFL iBT fee becomes USD 220,50. Payment must be made in Brazilian Reais, via deposit or transfer to the GCUB account, with conversion based on the official exchange rate of the day, available on the Central Bank of Brazil's website. In addition to the 10% reduction in the exam fee, registering through GCUB avoids international bank fees.
The vouchers will be issued by ETS and forwarded by GCUB to applicants within 30 days, taking into account international procedures. After receiving the voucher, the beneficiary will have up to one year to schedule the exam, with no possibility of extension.
The discount is valid exclusively for tests taken at Test Centers located in Brazil or in the Home Edition modality. It is mandatory that the residential address registered on the ETS website is Brazilian, as is the test location.
