Unicamp responds for 8% of all academic research in Brazil, 12% of national postgraduate studies and it’s the first place among the Brazilian universities when it comes to patents and articles published per capita annually in science magazines indexed in ISI/WoS database. The annual average number of defended theses and dissertations is 2.1 thousand, and 99% of the university’s professors have doctorate degrees. If the academic production is calculated by each researcher’s performance, Unicamp is, currently, the most productive Brazilian university.

An agency dedicated to support collaborative projects with companies and to reach partners and investors. They advise on the best strategies for protecting the results of their research and we conduct technology transfer negotiations.
They encourage entrepreneurship and the formation of startups through incubation processes at Incamp. They manage Unicamp Science and Technology Park, which is dedicated to housing industry innovation laboratories in partnership with the University, as well as startups, in order to promote the development of our innovation ecosystem.
