Exchange semester

Dear partners,

I hope this email finds you well!

With the escalation of the COVID-19, we would like to inform you regarding the protocol implemented at Unicamp.

To ensure safety to all students and staff, Unicamp has decided to close all campuses until April 30th. During that period, all classes, visits, and events are officially canceled as a measure to prevent the dissemination of any possible infection.

Some activities (including classes) will resume in remote and alternative formats.

The nomination for students who are planning to come to Unicamp for the next semester are still opened, but, please, bear in mind that the semester dates might be delayed. We will keep you informed though. If your students wish to postpone their stay to the first semester of 2021, we will accept their nominations as well.

All students and staff at Unicamp, including the exchange students are informed on the measures to prevent contamination. The information is also available online at

http://www.internationaloffice.unicamp.br/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/Information-on-the-Coronavirus-print.pdf and https://www.unicamp.br/unicamp/coronavirus.

It is important to emphasize that Unicamp is working closely with the State and Federal authorities, which have also implemented preventive measures at a national level: http://saopaulo.sp.gov.br/coronavirus/.

We are positive that those measures will help us during this challenging time.

Please, do not hesitate to contact us if you need any further information.
