The eduroam (education roaming) wireless network is a global mobility service developed for the education and research community. Through eduroam, students, researchers and staff from participating institutions obtain Internet access on the campus' wireless network and also when they visit partner institutions in Brazil and abroad, using the same configuration on their laptop, tablet or smartphone. To access the wireless network (Wi-Fi) you must have a Unicamp user. In the case of regular and exchange students, the user is the Academic Registry (RA) number. Unicamp's Computing Center (CCUEC) has a tutorial to help you configure the Wi-Fi network, which can be consulted on the eduroam wireless network (Wi-Fi) page.
The university card is the identification document for all Unicamp students, both for regularly enrolled students and for exchange students. It is used for entry into university restaurants on campus, for retrieving books from libraries, and may be used for entry into some university buildings and halls. The university card must be collected at the DAC. If the photo card is not ready, the student will receive a provisional card that has the same functionalities as the definitive card. In case the university card is lost or stolen, the student must pay a fee to issue a new card.
Internal Circular To get around the campus of Campinas, Unicamp offers the transport service called Circular Interno. Transport is free and to use it, you just hop on/off at points located on campus. Students can check schedules and itineraries on the Unicamp City Hall website or on the Unicamp Services app. Intercamp The intercamp bus is a free transport provided by UNICAMP that allows the UNICAMP community in Limeira (FT, FCA and Cotil) to have access to the activities that take place on the Barão Geraldo campus. How to use it: FT, COTIL and FCA students interested in using intercamp must request a reservation in the system and show up 15 minutes in advance at the bus departure point with the RA. For more information, as well as Intercamp schedules and itinerary, access the website of the Regional Administration Secretariat - SAR.
CECOM
Unicamp has a health center (internal care center) called Cecom, which offers medical and dental consultations, in addition to emergency care. The entire academic community, including exchange students, can use Cecom from Monday to Friday, from 7 am to 7 pm. For this, they must present a university card (RA) or, if they only have the provisional card, present a document with a photo (in the case of foreign students, a passport can be used).
Cecom also has a vaccination service and the Traveler's Health Program, for Brazilians traveling abroad and foreigners who intend to travel to Brazil or take the vaccines indicated in the country, such as yellow fever. Vaccination service does not require prior scheduling, but the user must consult the Cecom website for the hours of operation of this service. For the Travel Health Program, it is necessary to make prior appointments, which can be done by email or telephone.
For more information, access the Cecom - Community Health Center website. Address: R. Vital Brasil, 217-137 – Cidade Universitária, Campinas – SP, 13083-881 Maps. Phones: +55 (19) 3521-9020 / +55 (19) 9 9021-9029

Hospitals
Unicamp has two hospitals on the Campinas campus that can be used in urgent and emergency situations, especially on weekends, when the Cecom is closed for service. However, the student must keep in mind that the university hospitals are linked to the Unified Health System (SUS) and serve the entire population of the city of Campinas, as well as cities in the region and the country. Therefore, care in hospitals is subject to risk screening, which may require a longer waiting period in cases that are not considered serious.

Hospital of Clinics
Unicamp's Hospital de Clínicas (HC) is a hospital focused on highly complex procedures, but it also has a Referenced Urgency and Emergency Unit (EBU) that serves low and medium complexity patients. Unlike Cecom, the HC does not schedule appointments for the academic community. Therefore, students can use the hospital in urgent and emergency cases, especially at night and on weekends and holidays. For more information, access the Unicamp Hospital de Clinicas website. Address: Rua Vital Brasil, 251, Cidade Universitária Zeferino Vaz, Campinas. Maps.
