FIRST ORIENTATIONS

As Unicamp is located in the state of São Paulo, the most suitable airports for your arrival in the country are Cumbica Airport (GRU) – Guarulhos City; Congonhas Airport (CGH) – São Paulo City and Viracopos Airport (VCP) – Campinas City (city ​​where Unicamp's main campus is located).
From any of these three airports, you should take the bus LIRABUS, which will bring you to the Terminal Rodoviário de Campinas , located downtown Campinas. From there, you must take the appropriate transportation to your campus. If you will be taking courses only at the Limeira or Piracicaba campuses, it is not necessary to travel to the Campinas campus.
From Terminal Rodoviário de Campinas to Terminal Barão Geraldo and Unicamp (Campinas)
You can either take a taxi, UBER or carshare service (around R$ 80,00) or the 3.32 bus (Terminal Rodoviário de Campinas – Hospital de Clínicas, which is inside Unicamp). You may also take the 3.31 bus (Terminal Rodoviário de Campinas – Terminal Barão Geraldo) to Terminal Barão Geraldo and then get the 3.37 bus, which runs between Terminal Barão Geraldo and Unicamp.
From the Terminal Rodoviário de Campinas, you should take the bus VB TRANSPORTES, which will bring you to Limeira. You will get off at Terminal Rodoviário de Limeira, located downtown Limeira.
In the city of Limeira, Unicamp has two campi: FCA and FT.
From Terminal Rodoviário de Limeira to FCA, you may take a taxi directly to FCA or take the 03, 13 or 102 bus and get off at the Primeiro de Maio Square ( Praça Primeiro de Maio ), located in front of FCA.
From Terminal Rodoviário de Limeira to FT, you may take a taxi directly to FT or take the 03, 13 or 102 bus and get off at the Primeiro de Maio Square.
From the Terminal Rodoviário de Campinas, you should take a bus from Viação Piracicabana or Cometa, which will bring you to Piracicaba. From there, you may take a taxi directly to FOP, located in front of the City Shopping Center (Shopping Piracicaba).

DAC - Academic Office DAC is the Unicamp department responsible for all academic processes at the university. You will probably need to contact DAC at various times during your stay, and any questions you have, you can also look for them. The DAC’s website is https://www.dac.unicamp.br/portal/

Exchange students have the first two weeks of class to get to know the teachers, the classes, the content of the classes and after these first two weeks, enroll in the subjects they will attend all semester long.
To check which classes are offered in the semester in which you are enrolled, visit the DAC > Estudantes > Caderno de Horários.
The classes are separated by level (undergraduate and graduate) and by offering (period), which are:
First Semester - from March to July Second semester - from August to December
Winter classes - July
Summer classes - January and February
After choosing the level and period of offering, the student will notice that the classes are separated by schools or institutes.
The student must register in the chosen classes using the same system in which they registered for the exchange, the SIGA system.
Pay Attention: Students will have two days to register for classes , according to DAC's Academic Calendar. After this period, it isn't possible to add and / or change classes.
